Swarovski has been sponsoring International Hyères Fashion Festival for many years. We have developed a collaboration at the occasion of the Festival 33rd edition; a project mixing silk scarves with embedded crystals.
This research has led to the development of a new generation of accessories, situated half-way between a silk scarves, adornment and jewellery.
The first silk scarf reuses the net pattern where black crystals have been embedded which gives an unexpected impression of weight, as if the scarf has been ballasted. The second silk scarf reuses the arbour pattern in Autumn beaded with a shower of crystals.
I’ve been delighted to run this project in collaboration with the designer Romain Delamart.
