We were finalists, with the designer Romain Delamart, of the 33rd Hyères International Fashion Festival in the Accessories category with our “Belles Saisons” project; a collection of giant, narrative silk scarves. Following this selection, I have launched La Falaise studio. A design studio specialised in pattern drawing and graphic creation. In 2019, I joined “Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’Art” in Paris to continue this project.

After this parisien first stop, La Falaise studio has moved to Montreuil. It offers original creations for fashion, design, decoration and furniture (Bucol, Comme des Garçons, Sfates and Combier, Fabritt, Heimat Atlantica, etc.).

Between figuration and abstraction, La Falaise prints combine precision of design, simplification of shapes and powerful colour harmonies. The play of arabesques, the echoes of plants, animals and the seasons testify to an attachment to the Arts and Crafts movement. Surely, the passion for narration animates the creations of the studio which, playing with different supports and fabrics as well as with various techniques and volumes, reserve surprises and jokes in the design of its patterns.

Facing a pattern market ever evolving and saturated, La Falaise studio reaffirms a certain relationship to the gesture in the design of its prints with custom-designed creations, whose colours are sampled with gouache and whose designs carry stories. Passionate about techniques, La Falaise studio seeks to reveal in the design of his pattern, the expressive potential of artisanal know-how and specific processes (frame printing, embroidery, leather goods, weaving, hand engraving on glass, etc.).
