Belles saisons
“Belles Saisons” Collection has been inspired by the simple idea of an accessory which could evolve from one season to another. Designed based on evolutive patterns principle, each of the 3 silk scarves set runs throughout the year and tells a story in 4 frames, in the rhythm of the 4 seasons.
“ Les vrilles de la vigne” is themetaphor of an evolutive arbour depending of the seasons and climate elements. “L’ébauche d’un serpent” refers to the reptile life cycle, from egg-laying to hibernation. “ Le cimetière marin” Les vrilles de la vigne” presents the miraculous catch, from putting fishing nets to treasure catching. Each silk scarf is a abstract and alive unlimited frame. Its 120 x 120 giant format allows a perfect body surrounding, floating in the air.
Those silk scarves have been hand-made and printed by Bucol, historic French Maison working with Hermes and by Benoit Coulpier, young and promising printer who embody Lyon know-how and printing traditions. The colours have been tailor made and sampled from original gouaches. The screen painting offered vibrant and intense colours, quality of colours swatches and great penetrations.
I’ve been delighted to run this project in collaboration with the designer Romain Delamart.
